Axios Students

We had a great time last night with the youth group. They all came over to our house for a campfire. We cut a few trees down a couple of months ago in our back yard and as I was beginning to clean it up on Saturday and thought it would be fun to do the campfire. So Joe dug a fire pit and Pattie, Rayanne, and I cleaned up around it and had the youth over. We have a great bunch of students. They have a desire to make an impact for the Lord and are hungry to help out wherever they can. I can see a genuine love for this gang in Al and Mary, our volunteer youth leaders. I see a desire for them to get to know this group on an individual level. It was a great night. We roasted hot dogs, made s'mores and talked til dark (or until it was time for 24). As a former youth pastor, I can't help but love this gang.
