Random Thoughts

• Rayanne started a new school that meets every Thursday and helps give direction, instruction, and structure to home schooling efforts. It should be a great thing for Rayanne and will also allow her to meet new people. It will be more challenging and allow for better grading and subjectivity. It is also accredited and qualifies her for the Hope Scholarship.
• Joe Stag is working on our decor again. He does great work and is very diligent. He deserves to be paid.
• We have just one vehicle because the car is losing all of its coolant. It makes it difficult when we need to be in 2 places at once but I do get to spend more time with Pattie and that is always good. I will get it fixed next week.
• I have been juicing with my new Jack LaLane Power Juicer or brothing for lunch since the first of the year. It always makes me feel healthier and hopefully I can drop a few pounds. I keep telling everyone that I will look like Jack LaLane in 2 months but I don't know if a 90 year old man is the look I should be going for.
• All our Christmas stuff is down and put away except for the icicle lights hanging from the gutters. I am seriously considering keeping them up year round. Pattie is not for it.
• Our power went off last night around midnight. Its amazing how you know the power is off even when you are asleep. There is always a light on in our house so it is extra dark when there is no power but I think it is the complete silence that wakens everyone. Its amazing how there is always noise and how loud silence really is. Makes me realize that I need more silence to ensure that I hear God speak.
• There is a lady at the bus shop that thinks it is her job to inform everyone that I am a preacher. I told her that she needed to stop because she was ruining my reputation.
• It did help though. After finding out I was a preacher, one lady said that she wanted to come and check us out.
